Dr. Keagan Foss

Dr. Keagan Foss grew up in multiple states, but ultimately keeps finding his way back to Houston. He attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, where he was recognized as the most outstanding student in the Bachelor of Science in Biology program and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He continued his pursuit to become an orthodontist by attending the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston and, upon completing his dental training, was then accepted into the orthodontic residency program at the same institution. It was there he first met Dr. Cozad, who was a mentor to Dr. Foss both clinically and on his Masters Thesis. Upon completing residency, Dr. Foss earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry along with a Certificate in Orthodontics. Following his passion to learn and an interest in multidisciplinary cleft lip and palate care, Dr. Foss decided to do an additional fellowship to further specialize in Craniofacial Orthodontics at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He then remained on as an attending at the hospital, where he treated children and infants with complex facial deformities and other medical conditions, before coming to join Dr. Hughes & Dr. Cozad. He is board certified and a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics.

Outside of Dr. Foss’s professional endeavors, he enjoys exploring and being active outdoors (running, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, and pretty much anything else!) and will often bring his camera to capture those views and adventures. He also appreciates live music, especially the symphony, and art museums. When Dr. Foss is not out seeking the beauty of nature and art, he likes to cook at home, and often enjoys getting lost in a good book. Now that he’s back in Houston, Dr. Foss is also looking forward to spending more time with his friends and family.

Dr. Foss is excited to be working alongside Dr. Hughes & Dr. Cozad and the incredible office team to provide exceptional orthodontic care in the community.

Professional affiliations include the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, The American Association of Orthodontists, The Southwestern Society of Orthodontist, and The American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.
